VMFD "Žalgiris" is looking forward to playing the crucial match of the "SMScredit.lt A League" against Marijampolė's "Sūduva" in a packed green and white LFF stadium.
This would remind of the spirit of the Europa League, when the fans of Žalgiris felt amazing support from the 12th player in the stands.
"The spectators give wings to the team," says Žalgiris' managing director Vilma Venslovaitienė ahead of the upcoming Saturday match.
"Vilnius finally has to become the football capital. This year's results simply obligate to put the final point, which would be a gift to the whole city for the belief and support," say the fans of Žalgiris.
Žalgiris' leader is convinced that the team is already mature enough to become the champion: "There were both beautiful and bitter moments. The team has toughened up. It only remains to prove that when you want - you can."
The meeting between the Vilnius city football society "Žalgiris" and Marijampolė's "Sūduva" teams will take place on Saturday at 13:00 at the Lithuanian Football Federation stadium.
The spectators will be able to watch the match at the stadium for free.
