One of the leaders of Bayern Munich, Bastian Schweinsteiger, will have to lie under the surgeon's scalpel.
It is reported that the 29-year-old German is feeling pain in his ankle again and will need to undergo the same operation he had last summer.
"The past few weeks have been very painful for me. I tried to play, but it became impossible. I hope that everything will be okay after the surgery," said the Bayern veteran.
In this Bundesliga season, Bastian Schweinsteiger has played 10 matches and scored one goal.
