Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is convinced that the English Premier League is no longer as strong as it used to be, as it has weakened.
One of the best German goalkeepers played for the Gunners team from 2003 to 2008. However, the 44-year-old former footballer believes that the Bundesliga teams surpass English teams.
"I believe that the Premier League is no longer as strong. It certainly is not the most powerful league as it used to be," said J. Lehmann.
Last season, it was Dortmund and Munich teams that fought in the prestigious tournament final (UEFA Champions League - ed.note), in which Bayern beat their opponents by a slim margin.
However, this season Arsenal managed to defeat Jurgen Klopp's team with a 0-1 victory away from home.
