"Napoli" club president Aurelio De Laurentiis assures that he promises to spend 50 million euros to strengthen the team during the winter transfer window.

This summer, Neapolitans who did not hesitate to spend solid reinforcement can also expect in January, as the club president aims for the team to be competitive for the highest goals.

"If we want to continue to compete, we will need to spend 50 million on team strengthening. It's not easy to achieve high results without spending money, and I've accepted that," A.De Laurentiis said about his plans.

"It is important that we are not eliminated from the Champions League after Christmas, as this tournament attracts great footballers and Rafael Benitez understands that," the club president insisted.

After 12 rounds, Napoli's team with 28 points is in third place in the Serie A championship and is breathing down the necks of Juventus and Roma teams.
