Chelsea's security guard Frank Lampard has revealed that he will make a decision about his future next summer.
The Englishman, who will turn 36 during the World Cup in Brazil, currently has a one-year contract with the club coached by Jose Mourinho.
The veteran admits that he has not yet decided what he will do once the contract expires.
"In the summer I will be 36. Currently, I have not decided what to do next. At this age, I would not sign a four-year contract, but would extend it for one year," said the experienced footballer.
"I will make a decision after the World Cup... after we win it, we can all finish our careers together!" Lampard joked.
Lampard has been playing for Chelsea for 12 years - in 2001, he moved to the "aristocrats" from the "West Ham United" team.
