Madrid's "Real" received very bad news - one of the team's main defenders, Sami Khedira, suffered an injury and will most likely not appear on the field this season.
Yesterday, the German national team, represented by S. Khedira, played a friendly match against Italy. It was during this match that the defender injured his knee, and it was revealed that he will not be able to play for at least six months.
The decisive episode happened in the second half, when the German collided with the opponent player Andrea Pirlo. The footballer had to leave the field in the 67th minute.
"Sami will need surgery. We hope that he will be healthy by the 2014 World Cup," said the doctor of the German national team.
