In Genk, the football teams of the Netherlands and Japan met. The high-scoring match ended in a draw, 2-2.
The World Vice Champions had a solid advantage when goals were scored by Rafael van der Vaart and Arjen Robben, but the opponents managed to equalize the result. Yuya Osako and Keisuke Honda stood out in the Japanese team.
In the other matches, Spain narrowly defeated Equatorial Guinea, while the Welsh national team played a draw with Finland.
