P. Bento: Attacks in Sweden do not necessarily have to be finished by C. Ronaldo © EuroFootball.com

Due to one of the last tickets to the World Cup in Brazil, Sweden and Portugal national teams are fighting. The footballers of the latter country may be a bit calmer - before the decisive match on Tuesday, they are one step closer to their dream tournament. On the eve of the crucial match, Portugal's coach Paulo Bento insisted that the Swedes will not have enough defenses against Cristiano Ronaldo - other players can also stand out.

"If Sweden manages to stop Cristiano Ronaldo, other players will stand out," - said Portuguese coach P.Bento before the decisive match for qualification for the World Cup in Brazil, as reported by reuters.com.

After the first match, the mood of the Portuguese coach is more optimistic than that of the opponents, as his team defeated the Swedish team 1-0. The only goal for the Portuguese team was scored by C. Ronaldo.

"I think the situation is simple. We will try to stop not only Zlatan Ibrahimović, but the entire Swedish team's game," - said P.Bento at a press conference.

"There is no need to play individually, we must be a team. I believe that the Swedish team will also try to stop C.Ronaldo, but we must attack well. And not necessarily C.Ronaldo must finish the attacks," - shared the plans the Portuguese coach.

P.Bento emphasized that his opponents may not have enough to stop the Portuguese leader: "If C.Ronaldo gets too much attention - we will give opportunities to other players, we will attack from other positions."

According to P.Bento, Swedish captain Z.Ibrahimović was almost unnoticed in the first match, but the coach still emphasized the importance of both leaders for the teams. He also added that the national teams fighting for the ticket have a great respect for each other.

"We greatly respect the Swedish national team. They have great players, of course, they have Z.Ibrahimović, everyone knows what a great player he is. But we will try to play the same game we showed in the first match - to control not just one player, but the Swedish game," - said the Portuguese national team's coach.

The coach of the Portuguese national team said that his team's strategy is to seek victory: "Well, we have to wait and see what the Swedes will do. We will try to win. Our strategy is to go out on the field and win the match. We have to attack when we can to score a goal."
