In the summer, after parting ways with Madrid's "Real", goalkeeper Antonio Adan found a new club. "Cagliari" officially announced that they have signed a contract with the Spaniard.

The team competing in the Italian "Serie A" has signed a one-year contract with the 26-year-old free agent and will have the option to extend it.

"I am very happy to be playing for this team. I had been without a club for some time, but now "Cagliari" has given me the chance that I want to make the most of," said the goalkeeper.

Adan had always been Iker Casillas's backup in Madrid, but by Jose Mourinho's decision he was sometimes included in the main lineup. However, with the arrival of goalkeeper Diego Lopez, there was no longer a place for him on the team.

The footballer moved from "Castilla" to the main "Real" team in 2010. During this time, Adan appeared on the field 18 times.
