Portugal's national team, led to the 2014 World Cup by Cristiano Ronaldo, claims that he is not very concerned about the "Golden Ball" award.
On Tuesday, the Portuguese national team, represented by the star of Madrid's "Real," secured a ticket to Brazil and after a very successful season start, it is believed that the forward may receive the title of the best player on the planet.
"At the moment, I don't think much about the 'Ballon d'Or' award. I can say that I don't know if I will even participate in this ceremony," said 28-year-old C. Ronaldo.
"Right now, my thoughts are focused on 'Real' club. We want to win all possible titles this season, and the 'Golden Ball' is not a priority for me at the moment," added the footballer.
It is worth mentioning that FIFA has extended the voting for the "Ballon d'Or" until November 29, so C. Ronaldo remains the main candidate to win the mentioned trophy.
