President of "Cagliari" Massimo Cellino unexpectedly stated that team leader Radja Nainggolan may join "Juventus" during the winter transfer window.
In an interview with the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the Italian also emphasized that the negotiations will be greatly influenced by the excellent relationships between the two clubs.
"They have been interested in Nainggolan for the past two years, but they never crossed the line or pressured us, and I really appreciate that," said the president of the club from the city of Cagliari.
"The decision will be made by Radja himself. Especially after spending five years together, I cannot ask for more from him. He always fought for us until the end and deserves to reach new heights."
"This season is going well for us. In my opinion, our position in the standings is optimistic. We currently have 13 points, and in January we may have already collected all 30. It was during this time that we sold Alessandro Matri to "Juventus"," remembered M. Cellino.
During the winter transfer window of 2010, the Italian champions signed a six-month loan agreement with the striker then belonging to "Cagliari", according to which they had to buy out the player's contract for 15.5 million euros at the end of the season.
