The leaders of the Catalonia club have decided not to accept offers from abroad and not to organize the main football team's summer tour next year, as reported by the radio station "Catalunya Radio".

"Barcelona", like many other European football giants, organizes traditional trips to various continents in the summer and plays friendly matches there. It is not hidden that this is a significant source of income, but next year the Catalans are giving up the opportunity to earn extra.

It is claimed that the reason for adjusting "Barça's" plans in this way is the World Cup taking place in Brazil next year. The competition of the strongest teams on the planet will take place from June 12 to July 13. In the middle of July, many clubs finish their summer vacations and start preparations for the new season.

According to the report of "Catalunya Radio", the leaders of "Barcelona" took into account that many of the team's footballers will leave for their national teams and travel to Brazil. After that, the players will need additional rest, so the preparation for the 2014-2015 season will still not be complete.

During this year's summer, the Catalonia club visited Asia, where they played two friendly matches, also participated in several friendly games in Europe, and organized football clinics for children in Israel and Palestine.

According to unofficial data, "Barcelona" is paid from 3 to 5 million euros for one match.
