Madrid's "Real" club defender Gareth Bale is convinced that his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the "Ballon d'Or" award.
This season, C. Ronaldo, one of the main contenders to win the "Golden Ball," has already scored 25 goals representing the royal club.
The Portuguese also excels in both club and national team matches. In the qualifying match against Sweden, the footballer scored a hat-trick and helped Paulo Bento's team qualify for the world championship.
"In my eyes, C. Ronaldo is the best player in the world and no one can compare to him," Bale said about his teammate.
"He deserves this award. Despite the pressure on him, Ronaldo proved with his goals and performances that he is a top-level footballer," praised Bale.
Bale also assured that there is no competition between him and the Portuguese, and Ronaldo helps the new player on the team both on and off the field.
"We get along well. He helps me on the field and off it. He has not said anything bad to me. Ronaldo encourages me before every match, gives me confidence," Bale confirmed.
Transferred from the Tottenham team to Real Madrid this summer, G. Bale cost 91 million euros.
