Munich's "Bayern" received bad news after the UEFA Champions League match - team captain and defender Philipp Lahm will miss the next two games.
On Wednesday in Moscow, the Bavarians faced CSKA eleven, which they defeated with a score of 1-3. However, the victory was overshadowed by the German's injury, as the footballer left the field in the 28th minute.
It is reported that P. Lahm strained his thigh muscle, and due to this injury, he will not be able to play against "Braunschweig" (Bundesliga) and "Ausgburg" (DFB-Pokal) clubs.
The 30-year-old defender joined five other "Bayern" players who have experienced injuries. From the lineup, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Franck Ribery, Claudio Pizarro, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Holger Badstuber have also been sidelined.
The German champions have already secured a spot in the Champions League quarterfinals, but they are still fighting with "Manchester City" for the first place in the group.
