On Thursday evening, UEFA Europa League group stage matches were played in European stadiums.
Spanish team "Sevilla" let victory slip from their hands at home, failing to maintain a minimal lead against the Portuguese team "Estoril." Kevin Gameiro put the hosts ahead at the start of the match, but Ruben canceled out the opponent's efforts in the 90th minute to secure a point for his team.
At home, "Olympique Lyonnais" celebrated victory with a minimal result, defeating another Sevilla club, "Real Betis." The only goal of the match was scored by forward Bafetimbi Gomis in the 66th minute.
Italian club "Lazio" defeated Warsaw's "Legia" team away with a solid result of 2 – 0. The victory for the Rome team was decided by goals from Brayano Perea and Felipe Anderson. Following this victory, the Italian capital's team secured a spot in the knockout stage.
With the same result, victory was also celebrated away by the team coached by Andre Villas-Boas, who earned three points against Norway's "Tromso" club after goals from Vlado Chiriches and Moussa Dembele.
In a duel between group favorites "Swansea City" and "Valencia," the "Swans" triumphed with a minimal result after Dani Parejo's goal in the 20th minute.
Group leader "Fiorentina" couldn't defeat the Portuguese team "Pacos de Ferreira" away and played to a goalless draw with them.
Meanwhile, in the match between "Bordeaux" and Frankfurt's "Eintracht," victory was celebrated by the German club. The Bundesliga team's victory was sealed by a goal from Martino Lanig in the 83rd minute.
