During the summer, goalkeeper Mario Gotze, who moved to Bayern Munich club, is ready to prove his worth.
The 21-year-old footballer missed the beginning of the season due to an injury, but recently has been showing solid athletic form.
"It is important to keep in mind that I recently recovered from an injury. I was not ready to play at full hundred percent, and regaining my previous form is not easy," said the German.
"But now I am ready to play at full strength and my form is gradually improving. I hope to play even better from this moment on," the footballer assured.
The team's strategist Pep Guardiola has tested M. Gotze both as a goalkeeper and in a "false forward" position, but the goalkeeper himself claims that it doesn't matter to him where on the field he plays.
"The position is not important to me. We change places with each other and move a lot. We try to be tactically flexible and unpredictable. We just try to play quality football," M. Gotze concluded.
This season, the goalkeeper played 12 matches for Bayern, scoring 4 times. The Munich team paid 37 million euros for this footballer from the Borussia team.
