As reported, the president of the Sevilla team was convicted of embezzlement. Del Nido embezzled the city's money, and the Seville mayor Marbella Julian Munoz was also involved in this activity.
Initially, it was thought that Del Nido would be sentenced to up to thirty years, but the punishment was reduced. It is also reported that both of the mentioned individuals are accused of corruption, as they bribed government officials for personal gain.
