Former captain of the German national team Michael Ballack insisted after the 2014 World Cup draw ceremony that the Germans must win this tournament.
Despite playing in London's Chelsea team, the midfielder himself never triumphed in the World Cup with the national team, although in 2002 he lost in the final to the Brazilians and in 2006 settled for bronze.
"I know that the German national team is well prepared," said the former footballer. "It currently has many high-class players and they must triumph next year in Brazil."
"This team has almost no flaws, but if we are talking about them, then in my opinion, it is the left-back position," added M. Ballack.
Let us remind you that Joachim Low's team will compete in Group G in the tournament in Brazil, where Portugal, the USA, and Ghana are also present.
