The head coach of the Brazilian national football team Carlos Alberto Parreira has called up "Monaco" right-back Maicon to replace "Barcelona" defender Juliano Belletti, who suffered a groin injury.
Maicon, 23, who has already won the 2004 Copa America tournament with the national team, will join the squad soon, but will not play in Thursday's match against Greece.
On Thursday, Belletti's place in the starting lineup will most likely be taken by "Sao Paulo" right-back Cicinho.
