After the lost match in Spain, Carlo Ancelotti did not criticize his players and stated that they showed character by securing a draw.
In the Primera championship, yesterday Madrid's "Real" played away with Pamplona's "Osasuna" ending in a 2-2 draw. The Italian manager was disappointed with the referee's decision when Sergio Ramos was sent off the pitch in the first half.
"I don't really like talking about referee decisions, but I don't understand why Ramos was shown a second yellow card," the coach said after the match.
"The first 20 minutes were very good for us, but after the opponent's first goal we lost control. The result is not bad, when you manage to score two goals and not lose with 10 players," Ancelotti concluded.
The "Royal" club remains in third place with 38 points in the league table, while the leaders of the Primera have 43 points.
