"Barcelona" team veteran Carles Puyol will consider the possibility of retiring from professional football after this season, reports "Mundo Deportivo". The 35-year-old center-back has spent his entire professional career at the Catalan club, but in recent years the footballer has been plagued by injuries. It is believed that Gerardo Martino will start looking for players in the defender position during the winter. C.Puyol has been playing for the main team of the Spanish champions since 1999. In his 586 appearances, he scored 16 times. The defender has won the Spanish "Primera" championship six times with Barcelona and has lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy three times.
