"Valencia" club's patience ran out - former team player Miroslav Djukič was dismissed from the position of head coach. The 47-year-old strategist arrived at the "bats" team in the summer, but due to poor results this season, he was fired after six months of work. "Valencia" is struggling in the Spanish "Primera" championship and is only in ninth place in the league table, having suffered a 3-0 defeat against Madrid's "Atletico" over the weekend. "It's not an easy day for anyone. Initially, we had confidence in coach Djukič, but after poor results, we have to say goodbye. Football is football and various decisions have to be made," said president Amadeo Salvo. M. Djukič replaced Ernesto Valverde, who now coaches Athletic Bilbao, in Valencia.
