London's Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson does not underestimate his team and believes that the "Gunners" can make it to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.
On Monday, the draw for the Champions League round of 16 was revealed. It determined that "Arsenal" will face Munich's "Bayern", although the Bavarians eliminated the London club from this tournament last season.
"These draws are very strange. On one hand, they are not in our favor because "Bayern" is a very strong team, but at the same time, we believe that we can defeat such a great team," said the young Englishman.
"Last season we managed to beat them at their own stadium, so this time we also have chances. If we want to be the best, we have to beat the best. I am really looking forward to these matches," C. Jenkinson concluded.
It is worth remembering that the first leg between the English and German giants will take place on February 19 at the "Emirates" stadium, with the second match on March 11.
