Former long-time "[link="http://www.eurofootball.com/nw_index.php?page=nw_clubs&id=62"]Milan[/link]" club defender Gennaro Gattuso has come under the attention of law enforcement officials.
"Associated Press" reports that authorities are investigating whether the 35-year-old football coach was involved in match-fixing in the "Serie A" three years ago.
Cremona prosecutor Roberto Di Martino revealed that G. Gattuso and former "Milan" and Rome's "Lazio" player Cristian Brocchi were involved in fixed matches at the end of the 2010-2011 season.
In the past, similar match-fixing scandals in Italy ended very sadly. For example, multiple-time champions Turin's "Juventus" were relegated to "Serie B."
