The legendary French national team player Zinedine Zidane believes that "Les Bleus" can surprise at the World Cup.
Despite only qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil after a playoff, the former "Real" and "Juventus" midfielder thinks that Didier Deschamps' team has the potential to become world champions.
"France has great opportunities. The players are motivated and have what it takes to win the tournament - the team has footballers who can decide matches," said the legendary footballer.
"However, the team needs to be ready when it matters most. We can talk about their current form, but in six months, the French game must be at full capacity if they want to go far."
Zidane scored a brace in the 1998 World Cup final between France and Brazil, helping "Les Bleus" become the strongest team on the planet at that time.
The French national team will play in Group E alongside Ecuador, Switzerland, and Honduras.
