Clint Dempsey will play for the next two months at the club where he spent five years. The 30-year-old attacking midfielder from "Seattle Sounders" will play for London's "Fulham" on loan.
The MLS season in the USA has already ended, so the footballer decided to help his former club avoid relegation from the Premier League. After playing 17 rounds of the championship, "Fulham" has only fourteen points and is struggling in second-to-last place in the tournament table.
"All signs show that the team is fighting with all their might for points in every match, so if we maintain this character, I believe it will not be difficult to move up in the tournament table," - optimistically spoke C. Dempsey.
The footballer has already played for the London club from 2007 to 2012, when he moved to another city team, "Tottenham Hotspur". In the latter club, the American spent only one season and then returned to his homeland.
"It's good to be back. I always felt that Europe is my home, so I am very happy to be able to return and be part of the team. I wanted to compete again at the highest level and regain my sporting form," - said C. Dempsey.
The footballer has played 225 matches and scored 60 goals for "Fulham" team.
