Cristiano Ronaldo scored 69 goals in just twelve months, but the 28-year-old Portuguese is convinced that 2014 will be even more successful, although this year has already brought him records.
The "Real" Madrid superstar could receive the prestigious "Ballon d'Or" award in January for his goal tally. Those 69 goals are the key to victory in the race for the prize, in which Lionel Messi and Franck Ribery are also competing.
"This year has been good," the footballer wrote on the social network "Facebook", after scoring the most goals in Europe in 2013.
"But the next ones will be even better," he added.
The second in terms of goals scored in Europe is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. However, his number is lower - the Swedish player is 22 accurate strikes behind the Portuguese. C.Ronaldo had already surpassed Z.Ibrahimovic earlier - when he scored four goals in two matches against the Swedish team during the World Cup qualifying round with the Portuguese national team.
