Augusto Cesaras Lendoiro announced that he is stepping down from the position of President of "Deportivo".
The Spanish has been in top management positions since 1988.
"Deportivo" fans wanted changes and I decided to leave. I do not regret and thank my colleagues in the team's board for their cooperation," said 68-year-old Lendoiro.
Currently, "Deportivo" is leading in the second most powerful national championship, with a 2-point lead from the closest pursuers.
