The shining goalkeeper from Atletico Madrid, Koke, hopes to impress Vicente Del Bosque with his good game in order to gain a chance to play in Brazil.
The 21-year-old Spaniard caught the attention of many famous clubs after the last season. He is not thinking about leaving, but this season he wants to prove that he is worthy of playing in the 2014 World Cup.
"Who wouldn't want to go to the World Cup? I'm doing everything possible to be there," Koke said on the official Atletico website.
"I try to play as well as I can to show the coaches what I am worth. A long season awaits me and the club," added the talented player.
There are increasing reports in the press that Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Barcelona are interested in Koke's services.
