London's Tottenham club defender Paulinho will not be able to help the team for about a month.
The Brazilian was forced to leave the field during Wednesday's match against Stoke City, which Spurs won 3-0.
After further examination, it was revealed that the defender injured his calf muscles and will be out of action for at least four weeks.
Due to this injury, Paulinho will miss the Premier League match against Manchester United and the North London derby in the FA Cup against Arsenal.
In addition, the Brazilian will also be unavailable for the matches against Crystal Palace, Swansea City, and Manchester City.
In the English leagues, Paulinho, who joined Tottenham this summer, has played 17 matches, scoring twice and providing the same number of assists.
