The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al Khelaifi, confirmed in the press that the French champions want to acquire Paul Pogba.
It is increasingly being talked about in the media that PSG will make an offer to Juventus for the promising midfielder this summer.
"Paul is a Parisian. He is a great footballer, who is also the future of the French national team," the president told "Le Parisien" magazine.
"We are not planning to sign a contract with this player this winter, but we will try to do so next summer," added Al Khelaifi.
The 20-year-old Pogba's contract with the Italian champions is valid until 2016.
