On Thursday, "Cardiff City" club confirmed that the team will be led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The former "Manchester United" striker watched the match against "Arsenal" with the owner of the Welsh team Vincent Tan on Wednesday and it was almost certain who would become the new club's manager.

Until now, the Norwegian worked for three years at "Molde" club in his homeland. With this team, O.G. Solskjaer won the country's championship twice.

"I'm lucky to be able to return to the Premier League. I had to consult with my family, but this is a great opportunity," said the new "Cardiff City" manager.

O.G. Solskjaer also revealed that he spoke with former "Man Utd" manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"He wished me luck and as always gave me some advice. It was good to talk to him. Rumors that he advised me to reject the offer from 'Cardiff City' are made up", said the Norwegian.

Currently, the Welsh team has 18 points in the Premier League and is placed 17th in the league table.
