The club competing in the French "Ligue 1" announced that they have rehired the coach Gerard Gill, who was dismissed last Monday.
"Bastia", fighting for survival in the top division in France, stated that Gill will remain as coach until the end of the season.
"Gerard Gill will stay with our club until the end of the season, as the team needs to earn a few points in order to stay in "Ligue 1"," said club president Francois Nicolai.
Gill was fired this past Monday after declaring following weekend matches that the club needed a new president. This strategist had clashed with the club president before, so after this statement, patience had run out.
