Italian club "Fiorentina" striker Giuseppe Rossi will not be able to help the team for at least two months.
In Sunday's "Serie A" championship meeting with the team "Liverno," the footballer was forced to leave the field after a collision with opponent Leandro Rinaudo.
After tests, it was revealed that the Italian suffered a knee injury and will be out of action for two to three months.
G.Rossi only returned to the lineup last spring after tearing his cruciate ligaments in October 2011.
However, according to the club doctors, this injury is different and the previously injured cruciate ligaments remained untouched.
This season, the player demonstrated excellent athletic form. In the Italian league, G.Rossi scored 14 goals in 18 matches.
