On Wednesday evening, the second semi-final of the English League Cup "Capital One" tournament was played at the "Etihad" stadium.
Supported by their fans, the "Manchester City" footballers led by Manuel Pellegrini crushed the "West Ham" team and almost secured their place in the tournament final.
The hosts started attacking the opponents' goal already in the first half, and after two goals by Alvaro Negredo, the "Cityzens" had a solid advantage.
At the end of the first half, Yaya Toure scored, and immediately after the break, A.Negredo scored his third goal.
In the 60th minute, Edin Dzeko scored, and at the end of the match, the Bosnian player struck the final blow to Sam Allardyce's team.
The second leg will be played on Tuesday, January 21. In the final, the winner of the pair will meet the "Manchester United" or "Sunderland" club.
