On Wednesday evening in Italy, one of the Coppa Italia quarterfinal matches was played.
The team coached by Vincenzo Montella, Fiorentina, hosted Chievo at home.
In the 29th minute, Joaquin scored to put the hosts ahead, and at the end of the first half, young striker Ante Rebic doubled the team's lead.
The second half was also full of events: in the 68th minute, Chievo defender Gennaro Sardo received his second yellow card, and in the 84th minute, the balance of power on the field was levelled as Massimo Ambrosini was sent off.
In the quarterfinals, Turin's Juventus already secured their spot, with two more matches to be played on Thursday.
