Like every month, the best player and coach of the English Premier League for December were announced.
The player of the month was recognized as the attacking leader of Liverpool, Luis Suarez, who scored 10 goals in December.
The Uruguayan scored a poker in the match against Norwich, two goals each in matches against West Ham, Tottenham, and Cardiff City.
With Suarez's help, Liverpool led the English league over Christmas. However, on December 26th, they had to give up the top spot to the Arsenal players.
Meanwhile, the best coach of the month of December was recognized as Manuel Pellegrini, the coach of Manchester City. His team won 6 out of 7 games in December and played one draw.
The "City" team defeated Swansea City, West Brom, Arsenal, Fulham, Liverpool, and Crystal Palace clubs, playing only a draw against Southampton players.
Currently, "Man City" is in second place in the tournament table with 44 points, trailing the leading Arsenal players by one point.
