On Sunday, three matches of the nineteenth round of the "Primera" championship were played in Spain.

In Barcelona, the team supported by their fans "Espanyol" faced Madrid's "Real" eleven. Carlo Ancelotti's players celebrated a minimal victory.

In the first half, the players of the royal club dominated the field, but they failed to score, despite posing a threat to Diego Lopez's goal several times.

The second half started more successfully for the visitors from Madrid, when Pepe headed the ball into the opponent's goal after a precise pass from Luka Modric.

Throughout the remaining time, "Real" had great chances to increase their lead, but Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the team's leaders, missed the target a few times, and with the referee's final whistle, the result remained 0-1.

After this victory, the Spanish vice-champions closed in on the clubs "Atletico" and "Barcelona" from Madrid, who have 50 points each, by three points.

In other matches, Madrid's "Getafe" couldn't resist against Madrid's "Rayo Vallecano" at home, and Pamplona's "Osasuna" defeated Seville's "Real Betis" eleven.
