The UEFA website on Wednesday announced a list of 11 football players chosen by football fans from around the world as the best team of 2013. Surprisingly, among the eleven we did not see four-time "Golden Ball" winner Lionel Messi, but among the best are Franck Ribery and the best player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo. Also included in the list are defenders Philipp Lahm, David Alaba, Sergio Ramos, and Thiago Silva. The best midfielders are Gareth Bale, Marco Reus, and Mesut Ozil. Alongside C.Ronaldo, fans chose Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the striker position. In total, more than 6 million website visitors participated in this UEFA vote. The best UEFA.com team of 2013: Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer (Bayern). Defenders: Thiago Silva (PSG), Philipp Lahm (Bayern), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), David Alaba (Bayern).
