On Wednesday evening, the final participants of the French Cup semi-final were determined.
In the main match, the "Lyon" team forced the "Marseille" footballers to surrender, defeating them at home with a score of 2 - 1.
The hosts were brought forward in the middle of the first half by Yoann Gourcuff, while Bafetimbi Gomis doubled the lead in the second half.
At the end of the match, hope was given to the Marseille club by Andre-Pierre Gignac's converted penalty kick, but the guests failed to equalize and "Lyon" advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The remaining two tickets to the semi-finals were won by the "Troyes" and "Nantes" clubs.
