On Saturday evening, the leaders of the Italian "Serie A" championship secured victories in the 20th round of matches.

The second-placed "Roma" did not spare the footballers of "Livorno" at home. After goals from Mattia Destro, Kevin Strootman, and Adem Ljajic, Rudi Garcia's players added another three points to their tally in the tournament table.

The Turin-based team, "Juventus," also did not allow its competitors to come closer. Defending champions led by Antonio Conte defeated the "Sampdoria" team with a score of 4-2.

After goals from Arturo Vidal and Fernando Llorente, the hosts were leading 2-0, but intrigue was added by an own goal from Andrea Barzagli.

Just before the break, the scorer of the first goal, A. Vidal, also hit the target from the penalty spot with his second goal, bringing calmness to the game for "Juventus."

However, the opponents managed to bring back the intrigue in the 70th minute after a goal from forward Manolo Gabbiadini. Interestingly, half of the rights to this player are owned by the "Bianconeri" club.

Nevertheless, soon all the opponents' hopes of securing at least a point were destroyed by a goal from Paul Pogba.

After this round, the "Juventus" club maintained an 8-point gap from the closest pursuers, the footballers of "Roma."
