The Vilnius city football club "Žalgiris" team received a solid reinforcement.
The Lithuanian champions signed a contract with the representative of the Armenian national team, Artak Yedigarian.
The 23-year-old Armenian, who can play in the positions of defensive midfielder and full-back, became the second new player of the Vilnius team this offseason.
The legionnaire from Armenia arrived in Lithuania from the Yerevan "Banants" club, and spent most of his career in the same city's well-known "Pyunik" team.
In the fourth place Armenian Premier League club "Banants", A. Yedigarian played 15 matches and scored 1 goal. The footballer represented the national team 16 times, the under-18 team 6 times, and the under-21 team 12 times.
In the national team of Armenia, the new "Žalgiris" player made his debut in 2010. In the FIFA world national teams ranking announced on January 16, 2014, Armenia took a high 38th place (Lithuania - 103rd place).
