The Lithuanian national football team will play their first matches of this year in Turkey. On March 5th, in friendly matches, Lithuanians will meet representatives from Kazakhstan.
The double-header is planned to take place in Antalya, where both teams will hold training camps.
The national men's teams of Lithuania and Kazakhstan have not played against each other yet.
At the end of February last year, Latvian national team played friendly matches with Kazakhs - the match ended in a draw 0:0.
The Kazakh national team played their first international matches in 1992, and until 2002 competed in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) competitions.
