On Tuesday evening in Spain, two second leg matches of the King's Cup quarter-final were played.
In the city of Bilbao, the local team "Athletic" faced Madrid's "Atletico". Diego Simeone's team secured a minimal victory and a ticket to the semi-finals.
The hosts took the lead first, but a little later the King's Cup winners celebrated victory after goals from Raul Garcia and Diego Costa.
"Atletico" will face Madrid's "Real" players in the semi-finals of the tournament. Last season, these teams fought in the final. The semi-finals will be played on February 5/6 and 12/13.
In other matches, Barcelona players once again defeated their opponent, Valencia's "Levante" club.
The scorers for the winners were Adriano, Carles Puyol, Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez scored two goals.
