The case of using services of an underage prostitute has been dropped. The suspects Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery were acquitted on Thursday.
Bayern forward F.Ribery was accused of knowing that the prostitute Zahia Dehar was underage when he flew her to Munich in 2009. At that time, the girl was 16 years old, but the Frenchman claimed he did not know she was underage, although he admitted to using her services as a prostitute.
At the same time, according to prosecutors, footballer K.Benzema was also engaged in sexual activity with the underage girl in a Paris hotel, but he denied having any relationship with her.
Finally, today in France, a court ruled that both footballers are completely innocent and will not face years behind bars.
