On Saturday in France, matches of the twenty-third round of the "Ligue 1" championship were played.
In the previous match, Monaco club managed to snatch a point against Lorient team only at the end of the match.
In the 12th minute, Vincent Aboubakar scored a goal, but Monaco striker Valere Germain responded with a goal at the end of the first half.
In the second half, Lorient took the lead again through Jeremy Aliadiere, but this time they failed to keep the lead as Layvin Kurzawa scored an equalizer.
Monaco is currently 5 points behind Paris St. Germain club.
