This season, the team that became the champion of "Serie B" and climbed back to "Serie A" after a ten-year break has a new coach. The experienced Francesco Guidolin has taken over the coaching duties.
Guidolin, who stepped down from his role as strategist at the end of the season, has signed a two-year contract with "Genoa" and will replace the departed Serse Cosmi at the club.
Under Guidolin's leadership, "Palermo" shone in the previous season in "Serie A", securing a very high 6th position and earning a spot in the UEFA Europa League.
Throughout his long coaching career, Guidolin has managed teams such as "Vicenza," "Udinese," and others.
