On Sunday, two matches of the XXIV round of the Premier League were played in England.
At "The Hawthorns" fortress, the home team "West Brom" clashed against "Liverpool" supported by their fans. Brendan Rodgers' pupils failed to maintain the advantage gained in the first half, and the match ended in a draw, 1-1.
The "Reds" broke ahead in the 24th minute. After a precise pass from Luis Suarez, forward Daniel Sturridge scored. More goals were not scored in the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, the visitors delighted the fans. In the 67th minute, Victor Anichebe scored, and his goal was the last, so the teams shared a point.
A bit later in the matches held in London, local "Arsenal" secured a comfortable victory against the "Crystal Palace" team.
In the first half, the "Gunners" could not penetrate the opponent's defense, but immediately after the break, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain scored after a great pass from Santi Cazorla.
Later, in the 73rd minute, after a combination with Tomas Rosicky and Olivier Giroud, A.O.Chamberlain broke through the entire opponent's defense and secured the home team's victory.
These three points allowed Arsene Wenger's team to return to the top of the league table. Whether they will remain there after the final round of matches will be clear on Monday evening when London's "Chelsea" visit the "Etihad" stadium to test their strength against the "Manchester City" players.
