Bayern Munich director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge urges UEFA not to turn a blind eye to the millions spent by Paris Saint-Germain on new players.
The German hopes that the Financial Fair Play rules, which will come into effect on July 1, will put a stop to the Ligue 1 champions.
"It's hard to imagine how PSG will comply with these rules. We all know that money flows from Qatar, about 200 million euros per season.
I hope that Michel Platini will take this seriously. Clubs that do not comply with the rules must be punished. Teams have had three years to get their affairs in order and UEFA cannot tolerate future violations.
Perhaps people disagree with Platini and me, but I don't think it would be right if wealthy gentlemen from Saudi Arabia or Russia dominated the Champions League," Rummenigge said.
