On Wednesday, two semifinal matches of the King's Cup in Spain were played, and in one of them last season's finalists met.

At the fortress of "Santiago Bernabeu", Madrid's "Real" faced another team from the capital, Madrid's "Atletico". Carlo Ancelotti's pupils celebrated a convincing victory with a score of 3-0.

From the first half, the dominance on the field was started by the Spanish vice-champions, who broke through in the 17th minute. Pepe took a long shot, but the goal was credited to Emiliano Insua, whose ball went straight into the net.

Throughout the rest of the match, Diego Simeone's students did not create any dangerous opportunities, while the "whites" tried to disarm Thibaut Courtois more than once.

The second half was also more successful for the "Real" players. Young Jese doubled the score in the 57th minute after a wonderful pass from Angel Di Maria.

The final point in this match was made by none other than "Atletico" defender Miranda. A.Di Maria also scored with a long shot, thus scoring the final goal.

There were no shortage of scuffles in the match. Several incidents occurred between Diego Costos and Pepe, and Sergio Ramos also could not avoid a scuffle.

In the other match, the "Barcelona" players celebrated a convincing victory with a score of 2-0, as they faced San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad" at the "Camp Nou" stadium.

The goals for the winners were scored by Sergio Busquets and an own goal by Zubikarai. It is worth mentioning that Inigo Martinez was sent off the field at the end of the first half.
